Many young people in our community are unemployed but willing to work. They lack skills and the opportunity to earn a viable living. Youth often graduate from university to find out that Uganda has few 9 to 5 career opportunities available. Skills training can give them the opportunity to find work on their own. Where it doesn’t offer direct employment people often find it leads to other opportunities.
Business Opposes Poverty
Business provides people with the opportunity to earn. People with employment are better able to support themselves and their families. Business and the employment it provides are contributors to a transformed community.
Business that Benefits Everyone
Arise Uganda is engaged in social business to help provide skills and employment to locals. We co-founded era92 Creative which trains and employs young energetic and creative individuals to provide services such as wedding photography and web design.
