Arise is committed to being transformational in the communities we serve. Our Arise Community program addresses transformation in dificult situations that compel us to action. By reaching out to a struggling family, Arise can often create a more stable environment where children can begin to thrive.

Impacting a specific family is commendable, but doesn’t create the kind of transformation Arise desires. The Arise Community program aims to impact entire communities through education. Not just another school, but a new education system creating children who are future-proof because they understand how to learn.

With aging populations in Europe and North America, Africa is becoming the human resources engine of the world. More than ever, the world needs African youth to be well educated and creative thinkers. The average age of Uganda’s population is less than 16 years, but the education system fails to create graduates with high capacity.

The Arise Education program will establish a proof-of-concept school bringing 21st century education methods to Uganda. Moving from command-and-control methods will allow children to achive greater results and become accustomed to thinking out-of-the-box. Understanding how to learn will make Ugandan’s life-long-learners.
